5 April 2019 – Blackrock Expert Services Group has achieved a top ten position in the Global Arbitration Review’s Expert Witness Firms’ Power Index for the first time. Information considered includes total hearings per expert firm over the research period, the average and median value of claims for each arbitration as well as which firms are doing the most work in different genres of international arbitration: commercial, investor-state and certain industries, such as oil and gas.
Blackrock Expert Services Group’s ranking, alongside Haberman Ilett, in the top 10 highlights Blackrock Expert Services Group’s (previously Blackrock Expert Services) position as a leading provider of expert witness services in international arbitration.
This position is reinforced by Blackrock Expert Services Group’s experts regularly being recognised in GAR’s sister publication, Who’s Who Legal, the world’s leading guide to lawyers and consulting experts. Accolades from Who’s Who Legal have included mention in several of their top listings, namely, Arbitration, Construction, Consulting Experts, Future Leaders and Global Thought Leaders.
Commenting on these recent achievements Giles Derry, CEO, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection not only on the quality of our experts but also the whole team. I am proud to see a companywide commitment to our core values of professionalism, attention to detail, independence and integrity, which I believe has been instrumental in us getting to where we are today and the business continuing to move from strength-to-strength”.
